Biography

   Aviva's love of belly dance started from the first class she took back in 2006 at the age of 17 and since then it has been a big part of of her life and something she couldn't imagine living without!

    Aviva began her dance training with Hannan Sultan at Hannan's Bellydance studio in Toronto and since then has studied with many world renowned instructors such as Aziza, Yasmina Ramzy, Jillina, Sema Yildiz, Cassandra Shore, Tito Seif, Hadia, Jim Boz, Bozenka and many others. Aviva has danced as a member of "The Rhythm of the Nile Dance Company"  under the artistic direction of Nada El Masyria. Aviva also danced in  "The Sultanettes" directed by Maha. Currently, Aviva is an apprentice dancer in the "Arabesque Dance Company", directed by the world renowned Yasmina Ramzy.

  Aviva is currently pursuing performance opportunities whenever possible and is open to trying new dance forms, most recently, Burlesque and hopefully in the near future, Brazillian Samba. She is also working towards her Middle Eastern dance instructor certification with Hadia and recently completed Level 1 of the program.
